Dr Rebecca Allan

BVSc.

Rebecca started her working life as a registered nurse then jumped species and headed to Massey University to veterinary school, where she found her love for clinical pathology. After graduating with a BVSc. in 1996 and a short stint in small animal practice, she completed a residency in clinical pathology at Massey University from 1998-2000 and has worked in veterinary diagnostic laboratories ever since.

She enjoys all aspects of her job, especially small animal haematology and cytology.

When not behind a microscope, you can find her in the great outdoors on a mountain bike, walking her schnoodle Tilly or spending time her beloved family and friends.
